2023 Camp Rise and Shine – Creation Museum and Ark Encounter Road Trip!
“In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth.” Genesis 1:1 in the Bible opens with these profound words, and John 1:1 opens with the same phrase: “In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. He was in the beginning with God. All things were made through Him, and without Him nothing was made that was made.” These statements, along with the account of the worldwide flood in Genesis chapter 7 are among the most hotly debated claims of the Bible!

It is with mixed emotions that we share that Scott Hilt (affectionately known at the camp as ‘G-paw’) passed into the presence of Christ on October 4, 2022. Mixed because we grieve, but joyful because we know he’s with his Savior.

Welcome to Camp Rise and Shine, where you’ll experience an exciting, fun-filled time of camping in God’s wonderful outdoors! Enjoy crafts, skits, great food, Bible lessons, games, nature walks and more!
2022 Camp Registration – CLOSED – Looking For Clues
WE WANT YOU! to join us at Camp Rise and Shine, where we’ll dig into an exciting week of camping in God’s wonderful outdoors! The week will be filled with fun games and recreational activities, swimming, hiking and exploring, great food, engaging Bible stories, lessons, skits, crafts, singing, and much more!
At this year’s camp, campers will put on their thinking caps, grab their magnifying glasses and begin investigating cases from the Bible that raise some serious questions. In the process of examining the issues and considering the evidence needed to solve each case, we’ll learn that we can trust God’s plan, even when it may seem mysterious to us. We hope you’re as excited to get on the case as we are!
Accommodations are limited, so register as soon as possible to reserve your place! The cost is $175.00 ($150.00 + $25.00 registration fee).

- July 10–15 (Sun–Fri) – Boys aged 7-16
- July 17–22 (Sun–Fri) – Girls aged 7-16

2021 Camp Rise & Shine – Girl’s Week!
The girls had a great time digging into God’s word this week! We studied archaeology as well as the history behind how we got our Bible. No bones about it, we had a great time! More photos after the jump:

WE WANT YOU! to join us at Camp Rise and Shine, where we’ll dig into an exciting week of camping in God’s wonderful outdoors! The week will be filled with fun games and recreational activities, swimming, hiking and exploring, great food, engaging Bible stories, lessons, skits, crafts, singing, and much more!
In this year’s camp, we’ll go on an epic Dig for the Truth Expedition where we’ll look for real-life archaeological finds! One of the most important questions ever asked was said by Pilate when he was questioning Jesus before His crucifixion. Jesus said, “Everyone who is of the truth hears my voice,” to which Pilate answered, “What is truth?” Have you ever thought about this question? Jeremiah 29:13 tells us: “And you shall seek me, and find me, when you shall search for me with all your heart.” This verse teaches us the importance of diligently searching for God’s truths in a world filled with deceptive ideas and messages. This year’s camp will teach you why God’s Word is true, and most importantly, why you should trust Him!
