It is with mixed emotions that we share that Scott Hilt (affectionately known at the camp as ‘G-paw’) passed into the presence of Christ on October 4, 2022. Mixed because we grieve, but joyful because we know he’s with his Savior.

Scott’s greatest desire working at the camp was for the boys and girls who attended to come to Christ through faith and live for Him.

He enjoyed the occasional donut, too, when he could pilfer one without being caught.

“But I do not want you to be ignorant, brethren, concerning those who have fallen asleep, lest you sorrow as others who have no hope. For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so God will bring with Him those who sleep in Jesus.” (1 Thessalonians 4:13-14)
